There are seven major islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. Each island
is unique and with its own charm. Kauai offers a nice balance. There are
ample activities to keep you busy, yet there is not runaway growth that
chokes out the real Hawaiian experience. On Kaua'i you will find
gorgeous beaches, often with few if anyone on them, lush rain forests
with waterfalls and enough civilization to make you comfortable. If you
want nightlife, Kaua'i has its offerings. If you want Las Vegas and high
rises go to Waikiki or Maui.
